Dr. Zuhdiyah Darojat
Dr. Zuhdiyah Darojat, known by her patients as Dr. D, was born and raised in South Florida and has been deeply connected to the local community her entire life. After attending elementary through high school in Pembroke Pines, she earned her bachelor's degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2006 and completed her dental degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2010. With 16 years of clinical experience, she's proud to offer expert care right here in Miramar, a place she also calls home with her husband and children.
Dr. D's interest in dentistry started in high school after a memorable trip to the oral surgeon for her wisdom teeth. She began researching the field and quickly fell in love with the blend of science, art, and personal care that dentistry offers. Over the years, her passion has only grown stronger, fueled by the relationships she's built and the transformations she's helped her patients achieve.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. D is committed to advancing the profession through education. She serves as an adjunct faculty member in Nova Southeastern University's MS Biological Sciences Program, where she teaches graduate students and aspiring dentists about the dental professions. She frequently hosts students for shadowing experiences, passing along her expertise and passion to the next generation of dental professionals.
As the founder of Good Hands Dental, Dr. D is excited to create a space where comfort, trust, and quality care come together. Her vision centers on comprehensive treatment and long-term oral health, especially full-mouth rehabilitation for patients who need renewed function and confidence. While cosmetic dentistry is available, her priority is always personalized care that goes beyond surface-level aesthetics.
Patients are drawn to Dr. D's genuine personality, attention to detail, and calm energy. She's here to motivate and empower you, offering care in a way that's never rushed or intimidating.
